SEO Sage was founded in 2022 by long time SEO nerd Seph Mortensen. Seph was first exposed to SEO in 2013 working as an internet marketing intern at an SEO & PPC agency. He has now created SEO strategies for multiple multi-billion dollar international companies, start ups, ecommerce operations, SaaS companies, marketplaces, NGOs, and digital marketing agencies.

Seph is an entrepreneur, musician, poet, and leader with an interest in helping businesses that prioritize people and planet over profit. His newest startup, BluFire AI, is an ethics-based AI consulting firm that is consciously crafting the future of business by integrating AI solutions for technological agility, innovation, and strategic growth.

When not thinking about SEO and AI, you can find Joseph in the mountains or in the Amazon Jungle, playing his guitar, or on Vipassana retreat not thinking about anything.
